Dzenis Mantsevich has been creating electronic music for a number of years and alongside his production work, is also a Live Performance Artist, putting on shows of ambient and techno. His interest in music dates back to 2003, with nature, good people and the many sounds he'd previously heard being noted as his inspiration. His ethos, both in his musical work and life, is to attempt to reach a harmony in thoughts and ideas, serenity and balance.

Dzenis Mantsevich gives a nice spectrum of dub techno in these three tracks. Beginning with "Potential Energy"we get the standard dub techno issue with dub chords, a nice mechanical backrop of churning and just a solid track all together. "Kinetic Energy" has an ethereal quality to it, a splash of organic sounds accommodated by a sci-fi like beacon. Reminds me a bit of Monolake. "Vital Energy," the longest and in my opinion best track of this EP, takes things to a darker place. After a three-minute dark drone intro a dark kick-drum comes in an seals the package nicely. A Great EP with a good variety of modern techno, check it out.
